Waivers

A completed waiver is required in order to participate in camp. The waiver includes both an injury release, medical authorization and photo release.

Extended Care

We offer extended care at an additional fee which must be pre-booked. Late pick-ups will be charged a rate of $20/15minutes (minimum $20) after 6pm and must be paid directly to coach.

Outdoor speciality camps do not have an extended care option.

Late Bookings

Bookings made within 72 hours of arrival are surcharged because they require re-arranging requests and groups and potentially additional staff.

Cancellations

  • Summer camp cancellation 28+ days prior to camp is $50 fee.
  • No refunds or credits for any camp cancellations, withdrawals or date changes within 4 weeks of camp. No refunds or credits for any missed camp days regardless of reason.
  • No refunds or credits for any missed days regardless of the reason.

Daily Sign-in & Sign-out

We require the name & contact phone number of the adult dropping off and picking up our campers each day for security and in case of emergency.

Photo ID is required at pick-up.

Weather Cancellations

Caution is recommended when deciding to participate in any programs during snow storms, extreme heat and/or during unstable storm conditions. Responsibility of players rest with the parent/guardian and as such the parent/guardian must make the ultimate decision as to whether their child will come to the facility or field and participate.

If severe weather requires camp to be relocated, parents/guardians will be contacted by phone & email.

Snow Storms

PA Day, March Break & other camps run inside and will operate regardless of outside weather conditions including winter storm events and snow days. Camp runs on days when schools are closed because of bad weather. Unfortunately, no credit or refund can be provided for no-shows on bad weather days.

Extreme Heat

Summer camps run regardless of temperature, heat and/or humidex. During extreme heat conditions coaches will include additional water breaks and extra time in the shade.

Rain, Thunder & Lightning

Summer camps run in the rain.

Make-up Days

Camp spaces are limited so if you miss a day, for any reason, we are unable to provide a refund or make-up day.

Age Requirements

Children must meet the minimum camp age prior to the first day of camp to attend.

Children attending a Soccer World PA Day camp in September, October, November or December may be three (3) IF they are in full day JK and they are turning four (4) by December 31st.

Friend Requests

We make every effort to accommodate reciprocal friend requests for similar aged campers, however, due to group sizes, requests are not guaranteed. Same day friend requests cannot be accommodated if requested at check-in.

Allergy Alert

Families are asked to send nut free lunches, however, due to the public nature of the locations, our facilities are not nut free.

Soccer World has an epi-pen and AED at the front desk but children with allergies are asked to bring their emergency medication to camp each day.

Campers with severe allergies are required to wear a yellow ALLERGY ALERT wristband during camp.

First Aid Supplies

First aid supplies are stored behind the desk at the reception area, and at outdoor locations can be found in the large marked bin located with the coaching equipment.

Behaviour Expectations

Repeated inappropriate behaviour and bullying by a camper, following warning and discussion with parent/guardian, may result in their expulsion from the program without refund. Soccer World and Wentworth Sports Complex reserve the right to refuse future registration to these children.

Campers with Exceptionalities

We make every effort to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment and to ensure all children enjoy their camp experience but we are not designated to accommodate campers with exceptionalities. If your child has exceptionalities please speak with us before you register to determine if we are able to accommodate the specific requirements of your child.
