Volleyball Game Rules

Volleyball is played using Volleyball Canada game rules with the following exceptions

Game Rules

Out of Bounds

  • Ball is out when it touches any part of the roof

Serving

  • Server must rotate after three (3) consecutive points
  • Varsity+ players must serve overhand

First Touch

  • Volley reception (use of fingers) allowed when receiving a hard driven ball
  • Double touches allowed when receiving a hard driven ball

Game Play

  • Games are 2/3
  • Sets (including third set) are played to 25, win by 2, max 27
