Dundas & West Hamilton Summer Soccer

Since 2016, our popular west Hamilton soccer program has been held in scenic Churchill Park next to Westdale village. In 2021 the program was expanded to offer another west end option at Olympic Park in Dundas. This summer we are excited to run Wednesday and Thursday evening programs at Churchill and Sunday mornings at Olympic. As always our simultaneous classes & league schedule means we can easily accommodate different aged siblings playing on the same day, at the same park, at the same time.

We only select quality coaches who are committed to helping young people put forth their best effort, build confidence and develop a love for the game. Our team is high energy and looking forward to getting outside with your kids!

Both Westdale soccer (Wednesday & Thursday evenings) and Dundas soccer (Sunday mornings) offer soccer programs from 17 months. Our toddler classes for the 1 and 2 year olds are parent participation where the primary focus is on balance and coordination, movement with a ball and key motor skills like running and kicking. Parents can enjoy time on the field with their child and encourage listening skills as they participate alongside other children. Our pre-schooler classes for 3 and 4 year olds are full of fun drills and games to keep kids engaged and having fun. At this level, coaches will also introduce the basic rules of the game through scrimmages.

For the 5yrs and up, both west Hamilton soccer sites offer leagues where the emphasis shifts towards game play. There is always a team warm-up with lots of footwork drills and ball touches, followed by a game. Coaches are always on-field and ready to provide encouragement and game tactics.

We also have a u12 league for soccer players aged 10-12 years which runs twice a week (practice at Churchill Park, Monday games on the central mountain) and is perfect for players wanting an extra night of soccer. For older players we run a once a week u15 league where we only play games. u15 runs at BGT Sport field on Upper Wellington near Stone Church on Mondays.

Baseball & Flag Football

In more recent years, we have added beginner baseball and flag football programs into the mix. If you are looking for more than soccer, consider 2-5yrs baseball or flag football for 5-6yrs. At Soccer World we aim to keep your players active and engaged, whatever their sport!
